On the occasion of the planned State Visit by Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja, a Norwegian Business Delegation will be arranged to China 15–19 October 2018.

 

On the occasion of the upcoming State Visit, Norwegian companies are invited to take part in the Norwegian Business Delegation to China, 15–19 October 2018.

The business program will take place in Beijing (tentative dates 15–16 October) and Shanghai (tenative dates 17–19 October), and will include networking eventsplenum programs and parallel sessions related to ocean opportunities and sustainable solutions.

As part of the business program, the Norwegian Seafood Council in collaboration with Innovation Norway welcomes to a parallel session on “Prosperous Seafood Trade Between Norway and China”. The seafood session will be part of the business program “Pioneering Ocean Opportunities” in Shanghai

About the seafood program

Prosperous Seafood Trade Between Norway and China

China is already one of the most important markets for Norwegian seafood, and Norwegian seafood holds a strong position among the Chinese industry and consumers. In this session, we want to address future seafood trade between Norway and China. 

What are the key factors for further developing the seafood trade between our two countries, what has been the market achievements over the last 20 years that we can learn from, and how do we further enhance trade relations and collaboration between the seafood industry in Norway and China? 

Seafood session target audience and participants: Norwegian seafood producers and exporters (executives level) and Chinese seafood companies (executive level, by invitation).

  • Registration, including visa and accommodation is coordinated by Innovation Norway
