The Norwegian Seafood Council invites the Norwegian and American seafood industry to a short seafood seminar and reception.

The seminar will focus on the American seafood market, and it will be directly followed by our traditional reception.

  • 16:30 Welcome, Ms Anne-Kristine Øen Director USA for the Norwegian Seafood Council
  • 16:35 Remarks Ms Heidi Olufsen, Consular General,  
  • 16:40 Remarks, Mr Vidar Ulriksen (Labour party), State secretary to the minister of fisheries and ocean policy
  • 16:45 Tove Bjørgaas, US correspondent for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, located in Washington DC will talk about US politics and Economics as a backdrop for international trade
  • 17:05 Laura Cubillos, Director at our PR partner agency Padilla will address important trends in the US food market
  • 17:25 wrap up before we go to the reception (in adjacent room)

The seminar will take place at Davio’s Seaport, 26 Fan Pier Boulevard; a 15 minute walk from the expo.
